Apple Crisp Cheesecake

This is an updated version of my famous apple cheesecake recipe, which combines apple crisp as we all love it with delicious cheesecake. Sounds good? Because it is! Are you ready for the ultimate dessert experience?

Ingredients

Cheesecake:

  • 50 ml water
  • 1/2 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 5 teaspoon rice starch
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon yeast
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 small red apples
  • 1 cup vegan cream cheese

Crust:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 cup crumbs
  • 1/4 cup shortening

Topping:

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 6 tablespoon oats
  • 2 coconut oil

We will start with the crust. Mix the water with the starch, cream cheese, sugar, ginger. Set the oven to about 375 °F.

For the cake, start with melting the shortening. Meanwhile, mix together the oats, sugar and crackers in a large bowl. Add the shortening. Pour everything into a pan.

For the topping, mix the sugar, flour and oats in a bowl. Pour in the shortening oil and keep stirring.

To add everything together, slice the applies and place them on top. Next come the apple crisps. Bake the cake for about 50 minutes to one hour and allow it to cool down for at least 5 hours. Serve and enjoy!
