Cheezy Herbed Kale Chips

Hopefully you all read my review of Rhythm Superfoods' Kale Chips! While I do love those chips, they do get pretty pricey. So I found myself actually craving Kale the other night. Kale Chips that is! So I found this really great recipe online for making Kale Chips and I topped them with a Cheezy Herb Powder mixture and they turned out so great! I seriously ate the whole bunch of Kale! When Kale is roasted, it turns out to be crispy and yummy! It really is such a great snack and much better for you than potato chips!

My friend's baby shower went really well yesterday! I didn't get a super great picture of the chocolate cupcakes. They went too fast for me to get a good picture! I'll put up the recipe and picture soon for you guys!

Cheezy Herb Powder Ingredients:
  • 1 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1/2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp basil flakes
  • 1 tsp oregano flakes
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Combine all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until finely ground and powdery. Store extra in an airtight container.

    Kale Chips Ingredients:
    • 1 bunch of kale
    • 1 tbsp oil
Preheat an oven to 350F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
With a knife carefully remove the leaves from the thick stems and tear into bite size pieces. Wash and thoroughly dry kale with a salad spinner. Drizzle kale with olive oil and sprinkle with Cheezy Herb Powder.
Bake until the edges brown but are not burnt - 10 to 15 minutes.

    1. That's so funny because the day you posted about the bagged kale chips, my daughter and I tried making a batch of baked kale chips of our own. You're right the bagged ones are expensive and kale is so cheap! They came out really good! I <3 kale!!!
